Musclemary's favourite vegan-friendly restaurants in London

Opened by famously vegan Camilla Fayed in 2016, Farmacy is a diamond in Westbourne Grove. With branches in London and now a six month residency at the Chefs Counter Club in New York, this majorly instagrammable restaurant is one of the more difficult to find a table at short notice.

Open throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Farmacy sources its ingredients from its own Demeter certified biodynamic farm in the heart of the Kent Countryside. What is biodynamic farming?, I hear you ask. Well - this is the whole ethos of the Farmacy brand - unity and oneness with the planet using totally sustainable and ‘beyond organic’ farming methods. This mindset is firmly present throughout the regularly changing menu, with seasonal ingredients being used rather than anything unsustainably grown.

The daily curry is a must and their botanical cocktails are probably the most delicious in London. We would go for the protein omelette with their delicious signature paprika tahini.

If you’ve just done a HIIT and Run session at neighbouring uber cool KXU [add link] gym in Pavillion Road in Chelsea, Wulf and Lamb should be your next pit stop for a plant-based refuelling. Opened in 2017 in the newly refurbished street adjoining Sloane Square, their head chef Franco Casolin has created a fantastic menu of vegan staples such as green coconut curry, chargrilled cauliflower steak as well as their signature Chilli ‘Non’ carne. Their vegan sourdough pizzas are also worth a try. Wash it down with a macchiato with their very own homemade almond milk and you will be ready to hit the shops on Sloane Street!

Redemption so much more than a restaurant. Opened in 2014, this plant based destination, it now has 3 branches across London as well as offering cooking retreats run by Co-Founder Andrea Waters in Portugal, as well as regular wellness and lifestyle events.

Sunday brunch in their Notting Hill location is a particular treat - one of the best vegan drinks we’ve ever tasted is their blue spirulina smoothie - just the right amount of tang. Both the Korean spicy bbq jack bap  and the redemption burgers are fantastic.

For breakfast or brunch at the weekend we would recommend calling ahead to ensure you get a table, otherwise its a case of a long queue outside the door until one comes available
