Salted Caramel Vegan Doughnuts

Salted Caramel Vegan Doughnuts
Soft, pillowy vegan doughnuts that taste like they came from a bakery.
Recipe - Makes 10 doughnuts
Preheat oven to 180ºC
Ingredients
200g plain flour (I used wholemeal)
1.5 tsp baking powder
1 scoop of Caramel Kiss protein powder
Pinch of sea salt
480ml plant milk (I used soya)
3 tbsp sugar (I used coconut sugar)
40g dark chocolate (optional)
Method
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the milk and whisk in until you have a thick batter.
Using an oiled doughnut mould fill each ring leaving 1cm gap for the doughnuts to rise.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Let the doughnuts cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before removing from the mould.
Melt a little chocolate and drizzle over the top. Sprinkle with rock salt.
